Happy Easter!
What a great day! It was a looong day, but a great one! Mom and Dad came over for a very early lunch and hung out for a bit. I baked a ham, made potato salad and baked beans, and had chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. It was all so good! I'm about to hit some leftovers in a bit. They left about 2:00pm, and then we all took a nap.
Delyn is in his bed, but he's not asleep. He has a Doc appointment tomorrow, which I won't be able to go to because I have to work. It's shot time again for him. :( Poor guy.
D is going to Alabama with my folks in about two weeks. Honestly, I'm looking forward to some time alone! But, I'm going to miss him so much. He's growing so fast, and he's a lot of fun to be around (most of the time!!). He also gets homesick (just like his mom), so I know there is going to be at least one night that he won't want to go to sleep and he'll cry his eyes out. I also feel bad because it's going to break my mom and dad's heart to see him cry and know that there really isn't anything they can do. I'm sure that will happen the first or second night he's away, and then he'll be fine, though. He's going to have so much fun. My grandmother lives waaaay in the country, so there is so much for him to explore outside.
Speaking of outside, I noticed people in the pool yesterday! Does that mean it's warm enough yet? I need to consult Jennifer. She's all-knowing when it comes to proper pool temperature, and when it's finally not too cold to go in! I can't WAIT to get Delyn to the pool. He had such a good time last summer, and I just know he's going to have a blast this summer, too.
Hmmm...this is fun, posting again. I could get used to it. :) Is anyone still reading?

Question of the Day
http://www.lemondrop.com/2010/03/25/the-craziest-things-weve-found-in-our-bras/
So, what's the craziest thing YOU'VE ever found in your bra?
(I thought I was the only one who finds crumbs. Turns out that's normal! LOL)

Funny Book
Long night at work.
Wait, let me rephrase that. Long, LONG night at work! I hate to close. I worked with two newbies tonight, and that, however, was kinda fun. It made me think of my first couple of weeks/months at B&N, and how intimidating it was to be around all of those books. I had a good time with them tonight, helping them find stuff and telling little tidbits about the book business. I wanted to tell them, "Don't worry! In no time you'll be able to walk to the shelf when someone asks you for 'The Great Gatsby' instead of looking it up in the computer!" Oh, and when someone asks you for "The Great Gattersby", you'll automatically know what that is. :)
I was helping to recover the store, and I came across a new book by Anne Coyle and Ellen Rakieten called "Undateable". Not only is it hillarious, but very accurate!
A couple of months ago, I had a Cosmopolitan filled afternoon with Jennifer, and we discussed the issue of dating. I told her that I had recently realized that even though I consider myself an independent woman, when it comes to dating I really prefer to be properly courted. I want the man to take charge. I want to be told what we're doing on our first few dates. I want him to take charge while not being bossy. I want him to have a clean car when he comes to pick me up. I want flowers. I want respect. I want him to assume that everytime we go out he will pay, but if I offer to pick up the tab (after the first few dates) he'll let me. I want him to take his cues from me, and MY behavior. I want him to be confident without being cocky. I don't think that's too much to ask for, right? :)
How surprised was I when I started flipping through this book, and found that most of my newly discovered "dealbreakers" made the list! It turns out that I am NOT alone! This book is mostly just for fun, and boy is it funny! However, yeah...it's ALL TRUE!!! It's separated into three parts: Things men wear that make them undateable (crocs, bike shorts, and backwards sunglasses, to name a few), things men do that make them undateable ("adjust" themselves in public, undertip) , and things men say that make them undateable (too many details about their bathroom needs). Everyone should check this one out.

Okay, Let's Try ONE More Time!
Hi again! I've been in the mood to start blogging again, so I'm going to try really hard to update on a regular basis. I'm on Facebook quite a bit, and the reason I stopped blogging in the first place was because I found myself saying the same thing in two different places. However, Facebook doesn't really seem like a good forum for a good rant, or drunk posting. :) I've made a few new friends through FB, and I hope that they'll find there way over here to learn a little bit more details about my life! So, if you're new here, Welcome! Hope you enjoy a little glimpse of what it's like to be Tiffanie!

Return Of the Blogger
Hello world!
Back by popular demand, it's an update to the blog!
Over the past few days, I've had more than one person comment that they miss the blog, and that they thought I needed to update more often (like, more than once a year). Yes, one of those people was my sister and so she doesn"t really count, but STILL! (Love ya, Ramona!)
My 20th high school reunion was tonight. I didn't go. However, last night I met up with a couple of old friends from the good ol' class of '89. You know what? It was really fun. I had a blast catching up and talking with everyone. Even though dinner was slow, the company was grand. I really enjoyed seeing everyone and getting a very small glimpse into their grown up life.
I don't really have much to say at this point in the evening, other than it's taken until almost 2am for me to feel like a human again. I stayed out waaaaayyyy too late last night. I'm old.
