I was checking out Willie's blog, Live From C-Town, and it reminded me of something. See, Willie can cook. I mean, he can really COOK. I haven't had the pleasure of sampling much of his cooking, but I can tell you that that the Thanksgiving turkey he prepared last year was turkey-riffic! Anyways, Willie likes to post pictures on his blog of what yummy goodness he prepared for dinner. Or breakfast. Damn, that french toast looked tasty!
So, while I was checking out the site tonight, it made me think of this book that I bought but haven't read yet. It's called "I'm Not the New Me" and it's by Wendy McClure. Without going into too many details, there's a portion of this book that contains photos of actual menu cards from Weight Watchers from the 70's. There are no words to describe them.
Wait! There actually ARE words to describe them! Check out Weight Watchers recipe cards, circa 1974. This is funny (yet disgusting) stuff. As if being overweight in the 70's wasn't bad enough...
