More Pics

Okay, I totally should be packing, but I'm not. I just got off the phone with AT&T setting up my phone service, digital cable, and high speed internet. The guy I spoke with was super nice, and since I already knew exactly what I wanted it was easy. It was also easy because I wanted the top package, so he didn't really have anything to upsell. What does kind of suck is that my cable and internet won't be installed until about a week after my move in date. But that's okay. I should have enough movies to keep me entertained. Plus, I'll be working my ass off at that time, anyway.

Once my last payment goes through to Reliant, I can switch that. Then I just need to cancel my Comcast, and put in a change of address, and I think that's it. Oh, and change over my renters insurance.

Jennifer came over last night and we watched the really odd show called "Hell Date". I'll let you look that one up. BTW, Jenn...sometimes the joke is on the woman instead of the man....Anyway, we had fun.

As for packing...You know what? I think I'm saving it all for next week on purpose. I'm going to have to stay super busy, and what better way than to pack? :) My move date is December 7, which is also the day that I was supposed to go see Dane Cook with Ken. So, I'm gonna have to be REALLY distracted with the move, and get REALLY drunk that night.

Something cool though...I noticed today that there is also a Donut shop in the little complex that is within walking distance. Yay!! Donuts!

Anyway...here are some more pictures that I took of the complex...

That is my actual apartment. You can see the balcony. This pic was taken from my truck, in a parking space, so you can see that there is parking close by! That building immediately to the right that you see is one of the garages. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a carport if I can get one close. They're only $15 per month, and that means I'll have a reserved spot. One thing that worries me though...It doesn't look like those people are due to move out in one day!! :/


This is the view from the parking lot, just a few fee from where I took that first pic, turned 90 degrees. The building right there is the office/clubhouse, and the pool. (That's the pool gate, right there.) To the immediate right are the tennis courts. (And you can borrow tennis rackets, too!! Me and Jennifer are going to be tennis pros!!)

This is from around the curve. That's my building on the right. That's the volleyball court, then the other side of the pool. The clubhouse is to the left (you can't see it here).

So, yes, I'm getting excited! Did I mention that this complex has an "Activity Director"? She puts together events for the residents, like the monthly Resident's Brunch. :) Yeah, you heard me...Resident's Brunch. They also had a Thanksgiving dinner, and they'll have a Christmas Dinner as well.

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT FRIDAY!
