Anyone know how to get rid of stray cats? This mama cat and her two kittens have decided to take up residence on my porch. They are out there sleeping in my big rocking chair almost all of the time. I was okay letting them co-exist (even though I'm supposed to stay away from cats right now...but I figured it was okay since I wasn't handling them), but when Puddy and I went out there earlier they totally hissed and got all bitchy with Puddy when he went up to them. I think he just wanted to play, because he didn't bark or act agressive at all. It was very sad. Puddy can't even get homeless cats to play with him. So, I got pissed and chased them off with a curtain rod.

Call the apartment people is the only thing I can think of. I mean, I'm pretty sure you didn't check "yes, I'd like some feral cats to live on my patio" when you signed the lease. They would probably charge extra for it anyway!
Sigh. Yeah, I guess I'll have to do that. I just didn't want them to call the bad people to come scoop them up and take them to a horrible place where they do horrible things to unwanted animals. Although those cats are pretty horrible themselves. The kittens were cute, though.
