I just registered online at Target and Walmart. I started making my lists, gathering information from all of my books that I have, and I've come to the conclusion that I have NO IDEA what I'm doing.
There is sooooooo much stuff!! I just started writing it all down, then I'll add things to the registry later.
Ugh. It's frustrating, but, in all honesty, it's kinda fun. :)
I also started checking into childbirth classes. Again, scary as hell.

No nervous breakdowns allowed. PERIOD! :)
Came here to post the same thing as Willie.
Just think... women have been having babies forever -- long before Target and Walmart! You're going to be fine and you'll end up getting probably so much crap, you'll have more than you'll need!
OKay. I have a question:
How they hell are you supposed to prepare for a baby when you have no idea what's going to work. I mean, aren't all babies different? What if one type of bottle makes him too gassy? You won't know it until you try it.
The safest thing I can see to buy is bibs. But then again, what if he's a delicate little thing and needs bibs made from fabric for sensitive skin?
My first instinct is just to start buying one of everything! Good thing I'm broke right now!
I think that with some stuff you just buy a few of, and then you see what works, but there's tons of other stuff that I didn't even know about! It's lot's of fun picking things out, even though I only halfway know what I'm doing! I'm putting a lot of trust in these books!
