So I had my 3 hour glucose test today. It sucked. I got there about 8:15am, and they took some blood. Then came the nasty ass drink. I had a hard time keeping it down this time. After each hour, they took more blood. From the same arm. Almost in the same place. It sucked, and it hurt. During the last hour, the waiting room became REALLY crowded and uncomfortable. I was hungry, thirsty, and very very sleepy. Guess that was my sugar crash, because I think I actually dosed off for a couple of seconds.
One freaky thing happened, though. While I was sitting there waiting, I felt the baby move. Unlike most of the time, I felt this movement up inside my rib cage (or at least that's what it felt like). It kind of felt like a rolling. So, I looked down at myself, and saw what I'm guessing was a little hand or elbow poke my shirt up. It was the freakiest thing EVER!! I sat still for awhile and just became mesmerized. It was almost like he was stretching around in there. There were a couple of more pokes up high, and then lower towards my belly button. It was just weird and exciting. I almost turned to the woman next to me and asked, "Did you see that?!?!"
I got some lunch on the way home, and now Puddy and I are going to take a nap. He's a little bit upset with me because I sprayed him with flea/tick spray this morning. I'm going to take him to the vet after my doc appointment on Thursday to get him all caught up on his shots and stuff, so I'm hoping to get something to treat him for fleas as well.
I want to go the pool because there's no one there right now, but I'm just so sleepy!! I think its nap time.

I'd have to agree! :) Ewww. You just don't think about stuff like that happening...it makes total sense and all...but... :) Oh, and you can use Adams Flea and Tick Mist for Puddy - you can get it a Dr. Russell's office - it smells FANTASTIC!! :)
