Freaking Out

It's about 3am, and I've been feeling some strong (or strong for me, so far) contractions for about the last 3 hours. I started timing them, and they are still all over the place, but if they keep up for another hour or so I'm going to go to the hospital. I also have this tremendous pressure in my pelvic area, and when the contractions start they are up high (not down low, like they have been), and my back hurts as well.

False or not, it got my ass up out of bed, into the shower, and I packed my bag for the hospital. Or at least I got everything together and put it NEXT to the bag. Nothing like the threat of a baby coming to get yourself into gear!

I have a doctors appointment at 11am this morning, so maybe I'll be able to hold off until then. All I know is that this is the MOST uncomfortable I've been. The only thing that's really comfortable is to lean over a huge pile of pillows on the edge of the bed. I knew I should have gotten one of those birthing balls!

Anyways...If I go to the hospital before the rest of the world wakes up, I'll post. But no one freak out if the morning goes by and there's nothing here. That just means that I'm probably asleep or at the doctor. :)
