Zzzzzzz No More.

Being a single parent is harder than anything I have ever done in my entire life.

Most days it's fine. The baby is cute and cooperative, and everything runs on schedule. Then, there are the OTHER days. I had one of those OTHER days yesterday. Most of the day was fine, until Delyn needed to take a nap. When I say "needed", I mean that he woke up at 7am and it was 4pm and he hadn't had a nap. He was so cranky. So, he finally went to sleep around 4:30pm. Of course, he woke up around 7pm, and it was murder trying to get him to go BACK to sleep. After that debacle, he woke up around 2:00am. Usually this is normal, but he must have gotten all of his sleep in because the little booger would NOT go back to sleep after his bottle. Well, let me rephrase that. He DID go to sleep after his bottle. At 5:00am. Fifteen minutes before my alarm was going to go off.

That has really been the hardest part. Knowing that I have to go to work. Believe me, there is nothing I would rather do than stay home with my baby. My life would be easier, his life would be better, etc. But this is the real world, and the cold hard fact is that I have to work. So, I'm going to have to find a way to adapt better to the no sleep, and the ever fluctuating schedule.

I know this post doesn't make much sense, but I'm working on four hours sleep. :)
