If I Didn't Feel Old Enough Already

Ryan (my nephew, who is something like 24 years old) and his wife became parents today! I don't know much about the whole thing, other than they had a girl and she looks like Ryan. That makes me a really bad Great Aunt I guess.

So, not only is it brought to my attention AGAIN that I'm NOT MARRIED, but now I HAVE NO CHILDREN. Unless, of course, you count Puddy, whose day seems to consist of this:

Wake up
Potty
Chase tail
Lick wall
Chase tail some more
Take a nap
Wake up
Potty
Lick a different wall
Chase tail really fast, circling from room to room
Lick self
Lick wall again
Take a nap

Sounds like I have a special needs dog, eh? :)

Oh gosh, I just realized, this makes my sister a GRANDMOTHER!!

wilfredo said...: sucks for your sister! :) my sis will be in the same boat soon- my niece (23) is getting married in feb and if kids come fairly soon - she'll be a G-ma before she's 50! (she's 46 now) yep, it REALLY makes you realize your old when a. you have nieces/nephews that graduate from high school and college (didn't WE just do that??!) b. they start getting MARRIED! and c. they have kids! so all that means we're now OLD! :( :( THAT sucks!; July 28, 2007 at 10:13 AM
