Something Funny

I read this thing at work today that was pretty funny, and shows just a little bit of what kind of customers Booksellers deal with. This was a story about a customer who was very upset that we shelve books on UFO's in the New Age section, with other books about astrology, paranormal activity, etc. This customer insisted that the books dealing with UFO's should be shelved in Science. When the Bookseller assured him that he would "roll up" his suggestion, the customer thanked him and then said, "Did you know I was building a time machine?"

Nothing beats working with the public.

Don't even get me started about the customer who asked if Barnes & Noble carried books for the deaf.
