Guess what? Today is the first day in a loooong time where I felt pretty normal! I had a really good morning at work, I was energetic, and in a great mood. It pretty much lasted all day! I guess maybe the stories ARE true, and the second trimester is the best one out of the three. I know I'm still early in, but I felt a difference. I started to feel it last night, and I really felt it today.
With that being said, two other pregnancy side effects started happening today. I had a nosebleed (it wasn't anything major), and my gums started to bleed when I brushed my teeth. Both are completely normal, believe it or not. I'm also congested. Especially at night. (That's also normal)
Speaking of night...Puddy was pretty sick early early this morning (about 1:30am). I woke up and noticed that he wasn't in bed with me, and I heard him whining in the living room. He does this sometimes when he hears the neighbors get home, so I figured that's what it was. A few minutes later, he was in the bed just crying and whining. I figured something was wrong because he only really does this after a full night's sleep and he's ready to get the hell out of bed.
So, I put my sweats on over my nightgown and took him out. The poor doggie was out there as long as it took him to get onto the grass before he just let it all loose. I felt so bad for him! So we walked around awhile until I felt sure that he was done and we came back in. He crawled into my lap and just laid there like a puppy who didn't feel good. :( So, I loved on him for awhile and then I got really sleepy and had to go back to sleep. He settled in and so far he's been okay. It just kills me to think he was trying to hold all of that in until I finally got out of bed and helped him out.
Oh! Another thing that made this day really cool was that my friend Tracy (she used to be my manager at B&N) came by my new store and hung out for awhile. I just told her yesterday that I was pregnant, so she was pretty excited and came out to see me. I really miss her!
That's it for now! I'm going to go have a steak for dinner! Yay steak! (Sorry Jen....I'm sure your KFC mashed potatoes and butterscotch pudding are fabulous!)
