Probably Not a Good Idea.

In an attempt to get the baby to move around so I could try to feel him/her, I just ate 7 pieces of Russell Stover's chocolates.

So far, nothing.

But, my stomach is sticking further out today. I'm going to have to buy new pants very very soon. I'm losing my waist.

From what I've read, the baby's inner ears are formed, and he/she can hear sounds. Supposedly the baby can recognize voices (like mine), and can even be startled by loud noises. It's totally silly, but I find myself listening to the radio on a lower volume because...you know...the baby. I also try to talk to my stomach (which is very weird), and rub over where (I think) the baby is because I read that you should do that to start bonding.

I'm also convinced that Puddy knows there's a baby in there because now he likes to lay with his head RIGHT on that part of my stomach. I like to pretend he can hear what's going on in there. :)

Okay, that's enough. I think I'm delusional because of all of the chocolate I just ate.

I wouldn't be surprised if Puddy knows something is up.

See, I thought it was still kind of early to feel the baby move, but I guess not. And I'm trying to figure out the logic behind eating chocolate for that : ) Seems like you should try something really nasty and strong like horseradish or curry!

Supposedly caffeine REALLY affects the baby. It doesn't get "filtered" or anything. I read that some women drink a cup of coffee or something equivalent before ultrasounds to ensure that the baby is awake and moving around. As far as movement goes, I keep reading about all of these women who started feeling movement at like 15 weeks. It is early, and it doesn't mean anything is WRONG, but I'm just ready to start feeling stuff!! The doc said I would probably start feeling movement by my next appointment.
