Let the Shopping Begin!

I went shopping with Jennifer today. It was so much fun! I finally made it to Target to start zapping away to add to my registry. We started off slow, but then we got faster! It was especially fun looking at the clothes.

I'm really getting excited about this now. I bought a couple of things, and Jennifer bought a couple of things for the baby.

This was one little outfit I bought to go along with the little cap I bought way back when I first found out I was pregnant. It's so flipping cute!! For reals!

It was such a good day!!

Oh, and let's not forget the pacifiers and the cute socks:

I'm going to spend tomorrow cleaning up and maybe doing a bit of organizing. I need to start designating areas for baby stuff. Oh! I also bought this baby heart monitor thing. It's this thing you strap to your stomach, and you supposedly can hear the baby's heartbeat through the included headphones. So far I haven't been able to hear anything other than gurgling (and that's me, not the baby!), but I'll keep trying. As he gets bigger I should hear it. It also came with this thing where you can record it and put it on your computer, so once I get a good recording I'll figure out how to include it here.

I still have to pick out a car seat and a stroller, but I have some more research to do before then. I'll probably try to make a run to Babies R Us soon just to see what they have. Even thought it's a little bit overwhelming at times, I'm going to have so much fun shopping. Just think about what it's going to be like when I bring him home! :)
